Man Rewards Commercial Motorcyclist Who Returned N700,000 For Being Righteous
A commercial motorcycle (popularly called Okada) rider who returned N700,000 (Seven Hundred Thousand Naira) to a business woman from whom the money dropped has been rewarded for his faithfulness.
It was reported about a week ago that a commercial motorcyclist (Okada man) returned a lost N700,000 to a business woman in Oghara, Ethiope West Local Government Area of Delta State.
www.inquisitores.com gathered that, the passenger boarded the motorcycle to Oghareki market and the money fell off while she was alighting from the bike (Okada).
The motorcyclist (Okada Man) was quick to notice that something fell from her but before he could draw her attention to it, she had walked into the market.
He picked up the money and went searching only to find her weeping profusely over the missing money. An eye witness who was also a trader said, the business woman was on her way to pay back the loan she secured to boost her business when she forgot same money on the bike.
The Okada man was showered with praises by the traders as he handed the money over to the owner, who was exceedingly happy to have back her money.
A businesswoman who was at the scene also showered praises on the Okada man, saying;
“He has a heart of gold to have left his bike to go look for the woman and return back her money. At a time many of us will say God has answered my prayers, an ordinary okada man returned such a huge sum to the owner, may God reward him”, the trader said.
As people were trying to find out more about the man’s identity, he simply said, ‘I am Augustine Ogun, a Christian, I attend Winners Chapel,”
Meanwhile, a public spirited man, who fortunately was a viewer on TVC (television) programme, ‘Your View’, after watching the story immediately transferred the sum of N700,000 to the programme presenters on television for onward transfer to Mr. Augustine Ogun as a reward for being a righteous man.
Yourview TVC in a statement said, “We are pleased to inform you that a well-meaning Nigerian who has asked to remain anonymous, has sent a sum of N700,000 to Mr. Augustine Ogun, for his goodness. Amazing!”
