Senator Sharafadeen Alli (APC-Oyo South) has urged Nigerians to reconsider their plans for a protest on August 1, emphasizing that current hardships are temporary and will lead to long-lasting prosperity.
In a statement signed by his Special Adviser on Media, Akeem Abas, and made available to newsmen on Wednesday in Ibadan, Alli appealed to citizens to exercise patience and trust in President Bola Tinubu’s administration, affirming that the government has the nation’s best interests at heart.
Acknowledging the current hardships faced by Nigerians. He assured the populace that these challenges are part of a strategic effort to pave the way for long-lasting prosperity.
“We understand the pain and the struggle, but we are on a path to significant improvement,” said Alli,
Alli highlighted that President Tinubu’s administration is implementing policies designed to stabilize the economy and create a more sustainable future for all Nigerians. He urged citizens to remain hopeful and patient, emphasizing that these policies would eventually yield positive results.
“Transformation is never easy, but the outcome will benefit us all,” he said.
