He also expressed appreciation to the various security agencies for their efforts in protecting corps members deployed for election duties across the state, describing their presence and cooperation as critical to the successful discharge of the corps members’ responsibilities.

The State Coordinator equally commended officials of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) for their prompt response to issues reported from the field, noting that timely interventions helped to address emerging challenges and sustain the smooth conduct of the electoral process.

He acknowledged the cooperation among the various stakeholders involved in the election, particularly through the Inter-Consultative Committee on Election Security (ICCES), describing the collaboration as an important factor in maintaining peace, order and security throughout the exercise.

Kubiangha reaffirmed the NYSC’s commitment to the safety and welfare of corps members, stressing that the Scheme would continue to provide the necessary guidance and support to ensure that corps members perform their electoral responsibilities professionally and responsibly.

He urged the corps members to remain worthy ambassadors of the NYSC by upholding the ideals of the Scheme, maintaining neutrality and professionalism, and continuing to demonstrate the spirit of responsible national service wherever they are deployed.
