End of an Era: Senator Alli Mourns Chief Michael Koleoso, a Pillar of Oyo State’s Political Legacy

Senator Sharafadeen Alli (APC-Oyo South) has expressed profound grief over the passing of Chief Michael Adeniyi Koleoso, the former Secretary to the Oyo State Government and the revered Babalaje of Saki land. Chief Koleoso, who passed away on Monday at the age of 86, leaves behind a legacy of significant contributions to both Oyo State and Nigeria.

In a heartfelt statement signed by his Special Adviser on Media, Akeem Abas, and made available to the press in Ibadan on Tuesday, Senator Alli lamented the loss of a statesman whose influence and leadership were deeply felt across the nation.

Describing Chief Koleoso’s death as a monumental loss, Senator Alli highlighted his multifaceted roles as a seasoned politician, successful businessman, and respected community leader. He praised Chief Koleoso for his unwavering dedication to the service of Oyo State, noting his integrity and commitment to the betterment of society.

“Chief Koleoso was not only a leader but a guiding light for many. As the former National Chairman of the Alliance for Democracy (AD), his strategic insight and leadership during a pivotal era in Nigeria’s political history were invaluable,” Senator Alli remarked.

He recalled with admiration Chief Koleoso’s tireless efforts to uplift Saki land, particularly his relentless drive to improve the lives of its people. “His vision for growth and prosperity in Saki was unmatched, and his work will continue to benefit generations to come,” Alli added.

Senator Alli extended his deepest condolences to Chief Koleoso’s family, the people of Saki land, and all who were touched by his leadership and generosity. He prayed for the peaceful repose of Chief Koleoso’s soul and asked for divine comfort for his loved ones in this time of mourning.
