As Shooting Stars Sports Club (3SC) prepares for their upcoming Matchday 12 clash with Ikorodu City in Lagos, General Manager Dimeji Lawal has urged players to bring the same intensity and determination they showed in last Sunday’s victory over El-Kanemi Warriors.
Following Tuesday’s training session, Lawal, fondly known as “Kabongo,” commended the team’s resilience, recognizing their efforts in delighting both management and supporters. “On behalf of the management, I want to thank you for your dedication in Sunday’s game against El-Kanemi Warriors. You didn’t just uphold the club’s honor, you also brought joy to our fans,” Lawal said.
Looking ahead to Sunday’s game against Ikorodu City, Lawal, a former U-17 and U-20 winger, urged the team to stay focused and carry their momentum into the encounter. “I want you to replicate that same form and secure a positive result. Don’t let the previous win distract you—bring the same zeal and determination to the field.”
The ex-Super Eagles player stressed the importance of consistent performance and emphasized that every match is an opportunity to build on their hard-earned success.
