Minister of Power, Adebayo Adelabu, Pays Heartfelt Tribute to Late Mama Wulemot Aweni Babalola

In a deeply personal message, Nigeria’s Minister of Power, Hon. Adebayo Adelabu, expressed his condolences and paid tribute to the late Mama Wulemot Aweni Babalola, the beloved mother of Comrade Ademola Babalola, Chairman of the Oyo State Council of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ). Although unable to attend the 8th-day Fidau prayers due to official commitments, Adelabu conveyed his support and his prayer for Mama Babalola’s peaceful rest. “I pray that Almighty Allah grants her soul a peaceful rest and admits her into Aljanah Fridaus,” he added, expressing his wish for the bereaved family to find comfort in the knowledge that her memory and positive impact would continue to endure.

In his closing, Adelabu offered words of solace to Comrade Babalola, encouraging him to find strength in the legacy his mother left behind and in the outpouring of love and support from friends, family, and colleagues. “May you continue to draw strength from her enduring legacy,” he wrote, reminding the NUJ Chairman that the impact of a mother’s love and influence transcends her physical presence.
