Senator Sharafadeen Alli (APC-Oyo South) has extended his heartfelt condolences to Governor Seyi Makinde and the Makinde family following the passing of Engr. Sunday Makinde, who died at the age of 65.
In a statement issued on Friday in Ibadan by his Special Adviser on Media, Akeem Abas, Senator Alli described the late Engr. Sunday Makinde as a humble and accomplished individual whose contributions to his family and society were remarkable.
“The death of a loved one, especially a sibling, is a painful experience. Engr. Sunday’s legacy of hard work and commitment to humanity will forever be remembered,” the senator noted.
He expressed deep sympathy for Governor Makinde and all who are mourning the loss, offering prayers for the family’s strength in this challenging time.
“I extend my deepest condolences to Governor Seyi Makinde, his family, and everyone grieving the loss of Engr. Sunday Makinde. May the Almighty grant the family the strength to bear this irreparable loss and grant the departed eternal rest,” Alli said.
