Oyo Senators Alli, Akintunde Pay Condolence Visit to Ajimobi’s Family Over Daughter’s Passing

Senators Sharafadeen Alli (APC-Oyo South) and Yunus Akintunde (APC-Oyo Central) have paid a condolence visit to Chief (Mrs) Florence Ajimobi, widow of the late former governor of Oyo State, following the tragic death of her daughter, Mrs Abisola Kola-Daisi.

The senators visited the Ajimobi family residence in Lagos on Tuesday to commiserate with the bereaved family, offering heartfelt sympathies and prayers during what they described as an incredibly painful time.

In their joint expression of grief, the lawmakers described Mrs Kola-Daisi’s passing as a profound loss not just to the Ajimobi and Kola-Daisi families, but to the people of Oyo State and beyond.

Senator Alli paid tribute to Mrs Kola-Daisi’s vibrant personality and compassionate nature, noting her positive influence in both public and private spheres. He lamented her untimely departure, saying it had created a deep void in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.

“She was a beacon of grace and purpose. Her sudden exit has left many in shock and sorrow,” Alli stated while offering prayers for her soul and strength for the family.

Senator Akintunde echoed similar sentiments, describing the loss of a child as one of life’s most heartbreaking experiences. He commended Mrs Florence Ajimobi for her strength and dignity in the face of unimaginable grief, urging her to find solace in the impactful life and enduring legacy her daughter left behind.

Late Mrs Abisola Kola-Daisi, the first daughter of the late Governor Abiola Ajimobi, was admired for her elegance, humility, and entrepreneurial excellence. Her passing has continued to draw widespread tributes from political, business, and social circles across Nigeria.
