The Divine Mandate Team of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Oyo State Council, has congratulated veteran broadcaster and administrator, Alhaji Kunle Junaid, on his appointment as the Coordinating Director of the Broadcasting Corporation of Oyo State (BCOS), Ibadan.

In a congratulatory letter jointly signed by its Chairmanship candidate, Comrade Raji Adebayo, and the Director-General of the campaign organisation, Comrade Kunle Bakare, the team described Junaid’s elevation as “a fitting and well-deserved honour” reflecting his decades of exemplary service in the broadcast industry.

According to the statement, Alhaji Junaid’s appointment is a reaffirmation of his unwavering commitment to professionalism, ethical broadcasting, and institutional development—qualities that have distinguished him as one of the finest media administrators in the state.

The Divine Mandate Team noted that Junaid’s steady rise through the ranks and his reputation for diligence and discipline have earned him the respect of industry professionals and the confidence of government authorities.

“Your track record of service, leadership, and vision continues to set a high standard,” the team wrote. “We are confident that BCOS will witness a new phase of growth, innovation, and operational stability under your stewardship.”

The group further commended the state government for identifying a competent, experienced and result-driven professional to steer the affairs of the broadcast corporation at a time when the media landscape demands renewed creativity and managerial excellence.

Offering prayers for his success, the Divine Mandate Team expressed hope that Junaid’s tenure will consolidate ongoing reforms, inspire staff morale, and strengthen BCOS as a leading public service broadcaster in Nigeria.
