NHBC Men’s Missionary Union Celebrates Ambassador Olufemi Ajadi Oguntoyinbo at Birthday, Commends His Exemplary Philanthropy, Christian Service

…Says His Compassion, Selfless Leadership, Commitment to Humanity Reflect Life, Teachings of Christ

The Men’s Missionary Union (MMU) of the Nigerian Baptist Convention (NBC), New Heritage Baptist Church (NHBC), Eniosa, Ibadan, has extended warm congratulations to renowned philanthropist, entrepreneur and political leader, Ambassador Olufemi Ajadi Oguntoyinbo, on the occasion of his birthday, describing him as “an extraordinary gift from God to humanity whose life has become a living testimony of compassion, humility, generosity and sacrificial service.”

In a felicitation message jointly signed by the Chairman of the MMU, Mr. Adebowale A. Adeoye, and the Secretary, Mr. Sunday Popoola, the Church lauded Ambassador Ajadi’s unwavering commitment to uplifting the poor, empowering the youth and bringing hope to vulnerable members of society.

The Union noted that each time members read or hear reports of Ambassador Ajadi’s numerous humanitarian interventions, they are filled with gratitude to God and are reminded that genuine Christianity is demonstrated through love, compassion and service to humanity.

According to the statement, Ambassador Ajadi’s consistent acts of generosity and his passion for community development are practical expressions of the biblical injunction in Acts 20:35, which says, “It is more blessed to give than to receive.”

The MMU stated that the celebrant has continued to distinguish himself as a dependable benefactor, a bridge builder, a visionary leader and a problem solver whose uncommon kindness has touched countless lives across Oyo State and beyond.

“True greatness is not measured by the volume of wealth a man possesses but by the number of lives he positively transforms. Ambassador Olufemi Ajadi Oguntoyinbo has consistently demonstrated that leadership is about service, compassion and making meaningful impacts in the lives of others.

“His humility remains unequalled despite his achievements. His generosity is sincere, consistent and devoid of discrimination. His love for humanity transcends political affiliation, religious background, ethnic identity and social status.”

The Union further stated that Ambassador Ajadi’s remarkable investments in education, youth empowerment, entrepreneurship, healthcare, poverty alleviation and grassroots development have earned him widespread admiration and made him one of the most respected humanitarian figures in Oyo State.

According to the Church, it was in recognition of these exceptional contributions to humanity and society that Ambassador Ajadi was honoured with the 2025 Father Abraham Distinguished Award during the 2025 Father’s Day Celebration of New Heritage Baptist Church.

The MMU explained that the Award Selection Committee found Ambassador Ajadi eminently qualified for the prestigious honour because of his outstanding record of philanthropy, exemplary Christian virtues and unwavering commitment to improving the lives of others.

“We have never regretted that decision,” the statement said.

“Each time we hear about another scholarship awarded by Ambassador Ajadi, another family rescued from hardship, another youth empowered, another community project executed or another act of kindness extended to the needy, we continue to appreciate the wisdom and foresight of the Award Selection Committee for identifying and honouring a man whose life truly reflects the spirit of Father Abraham—faith, generosity and hospitality.”

The Church added that Ambassador Ajadi’s humanitarian activities continue to make the Body of Christ proud, noting that his lifestyle has become a practical demonstration of Christian love in action.

According to the MMU, “He is doing the Church of Christ proud through his unparalleled commitment to uplifting the weak, caring for the less privileged and restoring hope to the hopeless. His life is a practical sermon that Christianity is not only preached with words but also demonstrated through acts of love and compassion.”

The statement also disclosed that Ambassador Ajadi, alongside other recipients of the 2025 Father Abraham Distinguished Award, is due to be formally admitted into the Fellowship of the Father Abraham Distinguished Award during the Church’s special investiture ceremony.

It, however, explained that the programme earlier scheduled for the 2026 Father’s Day Celebration was postponed following the unfortunate abduction of schoolchildren and their teachers by terrorists in Oyo State.

The Church expressed gratitude to God over the safe release of the abductees last week and announced that a new date for the conferment of the Fellowship on Ambassador Ajadi and the other award recipients would soon be communicated.

While rejoicing with the celebrant, the MMU offered heartfelt prayers for him and his family.

“As you celebrate another glorious year today, may the Almighty God continue to enlarge your territory and establish the works of your hands. May He grant every righteous desire of your heart according to His divine will.

“May your businesses and investments flourish beyond imagination. May your enterprises continue to expand from strength to strength, and may God crown your labour with unprecedented success.

“May He preserve your health, strengthen your body, increase your wisdom, renew your strength daily and surround you with divine favour wherever you go.

“May every seed of kindness you have sown in the lives of countless people return to you in abundant harvest. May your family continually enjoy peace, joy, divine protection and supernatural prosperity.

“Like the righteous described in Psalm 1, may you remain like a tree planted by the rivers of water, bringing forth fruit in every season, whose leaves never wither and whose endeavours continually prosper.

“May kings honour you, generations celebrate your legacy, and may God continue to use you as a vessel of hope, transformation and blessings to Oyo State, Nigeria and humanity at large.

“On behalf of the Men’s Missionary Union and the entire New Heritage Baptist Church family, we heartily congratulate you and wish you many happy returns of this special day. May the grace, mercy, protection and unfailing favour of God abide with you and your family all the days of your lives, through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.”

The MMU reaffirmed its commitment to recognising and celebrating individuals whose lives exemplify godliness, integrity, compassion and sacrificial service to humanity, expressing confidence that Ambassador Olufemi Ajadi Oguntoyinbo will continue to inspire future generations through his enduring legacy of love and service.
