Breaking: Lionel Messi Agrees Two-Year Contract with PSG
Six-time Ballon d’Or winner, Lionel Messi has agreed a two-year contract with Paris Saint-Germain after days of several conflicting reports on Messi’s future and most likely to complete the transfer later today. As gathered by the inquisitiores.com, the deal includes an option to extend by a year and gives the forward a net salary of about €35m with bonuses factored in.
As published by the Dailymail, the 34-year-old and his lawyers are expected to be in Parish on Tuesday. Press conference is set to take place on Wednesday at the Parc des Princes.
Based on the deal, the six-time Ballon d’ Or winner who has been a free agent since June will earn £500,000-per-week.
The deal which was reached is coming after a report broke that his Barcelona had tried to block the attacker’s move to PSG in a complaint sent to an appeal court.
