Olubadan Stool: Makinde Insists Lekan Balogun, Others Must Revert To High Chief Status

Responding to the controversy surrounding who succeed late Oba Saliu Akanmu Adetunji, Aje Ogungunniso1 as Olubadan of Ibadanland, Governor Seyi Makinde of Oyo State has emphatically ordered Oba Lekan Balogun and other members of Olubadan-in-council who were elevated and crowned as Obas by late Governor Isaq Abiola Ajimobi to revert to their former positions.

Makinde made the statement on Tuesday at Popoyemoja, Ibadan during his condolence visit to the family of late Oba Saliu Adetunji, who died January 2nd, 2022.
