Some political thugs suspected to be loyalists of a high ranking member of Ebonyi State House of Assembly on Monday allegedly attacked and wounded the Secretary of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Ebonyi State Council, Mr Nnamdi Akpa.

According to an eyewitness account, Mr. Akpa was kicked and punched on the back while the thugs had a field day.
