VeryDarkMan Slams Celebrities for Funding Bobrisky, Calls Out Negative Impact on Society

In a heated critique, the controversial social media personality, VeryDarkMan (VDM), has intensified his stance against Nigerian celebrities who have financially supported crossdresser Bobrisky following his recent release from prison. VDM, known for his outspoken views on societal issues, did not mince words as he questioned the rationale behind such generosity and its broader implications on society.

On August 25, 2024, VDM took to social media to address the backlash he received after a previous video where he condemned the donations made by celebrities like Don Jazzy and Tiwa Savage, who contributed millions of naira to Bobrisky. His remarks have sparked widespread debate, especially after one commenter questioned why he was bothered since “it’s their money.”

VDM responded sharply, “With respect to this Bobrisky issue and the people who contributed money, someone said, ‘Is it your money?’ Let’s think about that—yes, it’s their money, but should we let them use it in ways that harm society?”

He went on to draw alarming parallels, stating, “There are people waiting to use their own money to fund illegal activities like drug trafficking and violence in this country. Just because it’s their money, should we allow that? Some wealthy individuals are bored and sponsor wars and kidnappings. Does that mean we should keep quiet?”

The social media influencer further elaborated on the potential consequences of financially supporting someone like Bobrisky, arguing that it sets a dangerous precedent, especially for the youth. “We all owe ourselves a better society. Everybody has a role to play,” VDM asserted. “So because it’s their money, we should let them sponsor someone who is teaching young boys that it’s okay to transition just to make money? If that’s how you people were raised, would you have fathers?”

VDM expressed deep concern over the message such actions send to impressionable young minds, suggesting that it undermines traditional values and could lead to a breakdown in societal norms. “There are countless communities in this country without clean water or schools without chairs for children to learn. Yet, millions are given to someone who is a bad example to the youth. What is the benefit of giving Bobrisky that money?” he questioned.

His comments have sparked a broader discussion about the responsibilities of celebrities and the impact their actions have on society. VDM’s fiery rhetoric and unfiltered critique have garnered both support and criticism, as the debate over Bobrisky’s influence and the role of celebrity philanthropy continues to unfold.
