A leading gubernatorial aspirant of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Oyo State, Ambassador Olufemi Ajadi Oguntoyinbo, has congratulated the Aare Egbe Omo Balogun of Ibadanland, Olooye Adegboyega Taofeek Adegoke (FCA), on the occasion of his birthday, describing him as a peace-loving leader with a deep commitment to humanitarian service.
Ajadi, in a statement personally signed on Wednesday, February 4, 2026, said Olooye Adegoke’s life of philanthropy and selfless service remains worthy of celebration and public commendation.
Demonstrating what he described as politics without bitterness, Ajadi noted that although both men are aspirants for the governorship of Oyo State under the same party, he holds Olooye Adegoke in high esteem for his character, generosity, and humility.
According to the statement, Ajadi said he particularly admires Olooye Adegoke’s intellectual depth and traditional standing as a senior chief within the Olubadan lineage.
“I felicitate with my senior brother, a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria and a respected Ibadan traditional chief, Olooye Adegboyega Taofeek Adegoke, on the occasion of his birthday,” Ajadi said.
“Though we are both aspiring to be governor of our dear state, Oyo, and belong to the same political party, as an apostle of politics without bitterness, I sincerely congratulate him on his birthday.”
Ajadi further prayed for the celebrant, wishing him continued good health and many more years of service to Ibadanland and Oyo State at large.
“I have watched with keen interest the philanthropic activities of Olooye Adegoke, which align perfectly with my belief that those who are privileged should always care for the less privileged in society,” he added.
“I pray that God will continue to provide for him as he dedicates his life to improving the welfare and living conditions of the downtrodden.”
