Senator Sharafadeen Abiodun Alli, representing Oyo South Senatorial District, has commended party faithful for their commitment and unity at the inauguration of All Progressives Congress (APC) “Renewed Hope” Ambassadors across the 33 local government areas of Oyo State.
The inauguration ceremony, held on Wednesday at the party’s state secretariat in Oke-Ado, Ibadan, was attended by prominent leaders of the Oyo APC, including the State “Renewed Hope” Ambassador, Senator Teslim Kolawole Folarin.
The event was marked by widespread enthusiasm, discipline and a strong display of party cohesion, as leaders and members gathered to formally usher in the local government ambassadors tasked with strengthening the APC’s grassroots structure across the state.
Addressing the newly inaugurated ambassadors, Senator Alli urged them to sustain the spirit of love, unity and cooperation within their respective local government areas. He emphasised the need to build and maintain a formidable party structure from the polling units through wards, local governments and constituencies.
The lawmaker used the occasion to commend Senator Teslim Folarin for his leadership and initiatives as the State Renewed Hope Ambassador, noting that his inclusive approach and emphasis on unity have continued to yield positive results for the party.
Senator Alli also advised party members to uphold decorum, discipline and orderliness as the APC prepares for its forthcoming congresses, stressing that internal harmony remains critical to the party’s success.
Furthermore, the senator applauded President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, for what he described as his determined and visionary leadership since assuming office. He hailed the President as a rare symbol of hope and renewal, committed to implementing policies aimed at national development and economic recovery.
Senator Alli concluded by calling on APC members and supporters to remain steadfast in their support for President Tinubu and the party’s leadership, urging them to continue rallying behind the Renewed Hope agenda in the collective effort to reposition Nigeria for a prosperous future.
