PDP Chairman In Abia State, Chief Johnson Onuigbo is dead

The Chairman of the Caretaker Executive Committee of the ruling Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), in Abia State, Chief Johnson Onuigbo has been confirmed dead.

Onuigbo reportedly passed away, Monday evening.

A family source who spoke with Journalists at the Umuobasi Ugba Umuahia Ibeku residence of the deceased, disclosed that the PDP chairman passed away on Monday evening.

However, the source, who pleaded on the grounds of anonymity didn’t give any particular reason as the cause of the unexpected departure of the late party chairman.

His remains have been deposited at an undisclosed hospital mortuary in Umuahia, the capital city of Abia State.

Prior to his appointment as the Abia PDP Caretaker Executive Committee Chairman, Late Johnson Onuigbo was the Transition Committee Chairman of Umuahia North Local Government Area and Abia central zonal vice Chairman of the party.
