Senator Alli Hails Adeyemo’s Emergence as Oyo APC Chairman, Seeks Renewed Party Unity

Senator (Dr.) Sharafadeen Alli (APC–Oyo South) has congratulated former Deputy Governor of Oyo State, Chief Moses Adeyemo, on his emergence as the new Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Oyo State.

In a statement personally signed and made available to journalists on Wednesday in Ibadan, the lawmaker described Adeyemo’s emergence as well-deserved, citing his vast administrative background and deep-rooted commitment to progressive politics.

Senator Alli expressed confidence that Adeyemo’s experience and leadership capacity would strengthen the party’s internal structure and reposition it for greater political success across the state. He noted that the new chairman’s stewardship would foster unity, inclusiveness and renewed dedication among party members.

The senator also extended congratulations to other members of the newly inaugurated State Working Committee, urging them to work collaboratively with loyalty, sincerity and a shared sense of purpose to advance the party’s vision and aspirations.

He further commended the immediate past State Chairman, Pharm. Olayide Moshood Abas, for successfully completing his tenure. According to Senator Alli, Abas played a significant role in sustaining stability within the party during challenging times, promoting discipline, transparency and internal cohesion that strengthened the APC’s organisational growth in Oyo State.

Senator Alli prayed for wisdom, strength and divine guidance for Chief Adeyemo and his team as they assume their new responsibilities, expressing optimism that the party would record renewed progress and achieve greater electoral victories under their leadership.
